The 20th of April

This is a house of Catherine.
She is the curator of the exhibition. She kindly offered me to use whole house on the day I arrived.
They said that this house with high ceiling used to be a kind of chemical factory. Its ground floor is made available for an artist's atlier.
Too big a room for me. Don't know where to settle myself down. Special pose for camera.
I shared a bed with a cat. MMMMMM heavy...
The 21st of April
Intervied by TV crew
They made a film of me, I videorecord them.
I was in such a good mood that I said:
Bonjour !
Je m'appelle Risa Sato.
Enchante !!
Then I look into their camera like an actress does.
The 22nd of April
Visited an atlier with Mr.Gordon Hatt. He is a curator of Cambridge Galleries where Big In Japan started its tour in Canada.
The host of the atlier was Mr.Max Streicher.
He creates balloon like objet with flagile materials like paper.
His artworks are shown on the Cambridge Galleries website
iCambridge Galleries ;http://www.gallerycambridge.on.caj
I was told that the atlier is offered to artists at very low cost and there are many on the waiting list.
Lecture at Japan Foundation.
Catherine made a wonderful slide presentation as an introduction to the exhibition and the artists.
Then I talked about the concept of Satogo Shigan. I made my speech riding on Risa Campaign #8 which I thoght was very formal way to present my art performance.
My lecture was followed by video programs which was first shown at the solo exhibition last year.
The lecture was closed by the Q and A session. Mr.Daisuke Takeya interpreted all the conversation.
I did not miss the opportunity to make commercial announcements of my merchandises.
They bursted into laughter. Of course I did not miss this chance to photograph them.
100 or more participants !
